Contradanza Festival

The first edition of the Contradanza Festival was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Fondachelli-Fantina, a small village in the province of Messina. The initiative, designed to celebrate folk traditions and community spirit, brought together over forty dance couples in the square, creating a grand collective celebration around the contradanza.

In a mountain setting like that of Fondachelli-Fantina, the event represented a special cultural opportunity to revitalize village life and rekindle the sense of belonging.
