The contemporary art collective in Spazio Nobili of Montelabbate
Contemporanea is the contemporary art collective that animates the Spazio Nobili in Montelabbate every year, a small municipality in the hilly hinterland of the province of Pesaro and Urbino, in the Marche region. The exhibition transforms the rooms of the historic Palazzo Municipale on Via Roma into a widespread gallery where painting, visual research, and experimentation meet and dialogue. It is not a simple exhibition: it is an opportunity for exchange between artists, citizens, and enthusiasts, designed to bring the public closer to the art of our time.
The exhibition is held in Spazio Nobili, the exhibition space that the municipal administration has dedicated to the Montelabbate artist Leonardo Nobili within the historic and restored Palazzo Municipale, at Via Roma 8. It has become the reference point for art in Montelabbate, capable of hosting collective exhibitions, conferences, and cultural events throughout the year.
The common thread of Contemporanea is the dialogue between different languages and visions: each edition showcases the works of numerous artists, from the Marche region and beyond, offering a rich and articulated view of contemporary creativity. Alongside canvases and visual research, the calendar is often enriched with conferences, contributions from art critics, and moments of literary approfondimento that broaden the reflection on the exhibited works.
Contemporanea is promoted by the Municipality of Montelabbate, in collaboration with the 50&Piรน Associazione Pesaro e Urbino project, and curated by Leonardo Nobili. The event is part of the vibrant cultural season of the Pesaro area and contributes to enhancing the local artistic heritage, confirming itself as an anticipated event for those who love art and wish to discover the cultural face of a Marche village often outside the major tourist circuits.
The second edition of Contemporanea was inaugurated on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 6 pm in the rooms of Spazio Nobili, inside the historic Palazzo Municipale of Montelabbate, and remained open to the public until April 19, 2026. The collective, curated by Leonardo Nobili, offered a dialogue between different languages, techniques, and visions, providing a rich insight into contemporary art. The inauguration saw a large turnout and was accompanied by a wine tasting organized by Cantina Luigi Giusti. The initiative was promoted by the Municipality of Montelabbate in collaboration with the Associazione 50&Piรน Pesaro e Urbino, chaired by Patrizia Caimi.
