Edition 2025 — Contaminazioni Liriche

In 2025, the Contaminazioni Liriche Festival once again brought grand opera to Savona's Fortezza del Priamar, with titles from the Verdi and Puccini repertoire by Teatro dell'Opera Giocosa. Featuring open-air productions and renowned conductors, the festival reaffirmed its role as a key event for opera in Liguria.

The 2025 edition of the Contaminazioni Liriche Festival renewed the appointment with opera at the Fortezza del Priamar. The Teatro dell'Opera Giocosa of Savona presented major Italian melodrama titles in open-air productions, with the participation of talented performers and conductors, ideally continuing with the opera season at the Teatro Chiabrera. A programme that confirmed Savona among the cities with a strong operatic tradition in the region.
