CondiVisa - Theatres in Motion along the Aqueduct

2025 was a year of consolidation for the Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo: the new season, inaugurated on October 16, 2025, confirmed the vocation of the East Rome venue to be both a local landmark and a theatre research laboratory, under the artistic direction of Antonino Pirillo and Giorgio Andriani.

Within this framework, the bond with Fortezza Est, the independent theatre of Tor Pignattara with which the TBQ shares the CondiVisa - Theatres in Motion along the Aqueduct project (born in 2022 and continued in 2023), remained active. The festival, which gathers shows by young companies and artist talks over a few days, was programmed as part of the 2025/2026 season and took place in May 2026.

For the audience of Quarticciolo and neighbouring districts, 2025 meant the continuity of an accessible cultural offering in a peripheral area of the Metropolitan City of Rome, Lazio, where public theatre has performed a social as well as an artistic function for years.
