Edition 2025 — Concerti in San Giorgio
The 25th edition of Concerti in San Giorgio celebrated twenty-five years of music and listening in Valperga, with four free-admission events in the medieval church of San Giorgio, from June 8 to September 28, 2025. A journey through classical and chamber music that confirmed the festival as a cultural symbol of the Canavese region.
Concerti in San Giorgio 2025 - 25th Edition
In 2025, the festival celebrated its twenty-five-year milestone with a season spread between summer and early autumn in the medieval church of San Giorgio in Valperga (Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont). Once again, all concerts were free of charge.
Selected events
- Sunday, June 8, 5:30 PM - Opening concert with a brass quintet formed by musicians from the Rai National Symphony Orchestra.
- Sunday, June 22, 5:30 PM - Duo Fuga, piano four-hands, featuring music by Brahms and Dvořák.
- Sunday, September 28, 5:00 PM - Closing concert with the Valperga Choir and the musical meditation "Pilgrims of Hope".
The 25th edition was organized by the Amici di San Giorgio in Valperga ETS Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Valperga.
