Edition 2025 — Componimenti di Primavera

During the spring of 2025, the Cine Teatro Mangiatordi in Altamura once again hosted the Componimenti di Primavera festival by the Saverio Mercadante Orchestra. Between March and May, evenings of music, theater, and singer-songwriter performances took place at 9:00 PM, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated moments of the Murgia cultural season.

The 2025 edition of Componimenti di Primavera reaffirmed the formula that made the Altamura festival popular: a cycle of spring evenings at the Cine Teatro Mangiatordi where the music of the Saverio Mercadante Orchestra meets theater, storytelling, and the great Italian songbook.

Under the artistic guidance of maestros Rocco Debernardis and Michele Mirabella, the program featured tributes, soloists, and guest ensembles, maintaining the customary 9:00 PM start time. The event, promoted by the Saverio Mercadante Orchestra Association, remains an important pillar of cultural life in Altamura, in the Province of Bari, and a constant tribute to the legacy of the local composer Saverio Mercadante.
