Colterenzio Parish Festival / Pfarrfest Schreckbichl

The 2025 edition of the Colterenzio parish festival took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, on the feast day of the Holy Cross, the patron of the village church. In the small hamlet of Schreckbichl, above Appiano sulla strada del vino, the community renewed the Kirchtag ritual: after the religious service, farm courtyards and ancient cellars reopened to guests for a day of celebration. There was no shortage of Giggerle and typical South Tyrolean specialties, accompanied by wines from one of the most famous wine-growing areas in South Tyrol, while local music provided the backdrop to the traditional event.
