Blues arrives in Cologne

The Cologne Blues Festival, known as The Blues Festival, is now a well-established event for fans of the genre. It takes place in Cologne, in the province of Brescia, in the Franciacorta region overlooking Lake Iseo, at the Parco Area Feste on via Corioni. Two days entirely dedicated to the blues, with free admission and a continuously open food area, organised by the Associazione Terzo Millennio with the patronage of the Municipality.

Two days of music and flavours

The programme combines concerts and conviviality. Saturday opens in the afternoon with AperiBlues, an aperitif accompanied by live music; Sunday is the main day, with SpiedoBlues at noon (the Brescian spit-roast paired with blues), an open jam session for enthusiasts, and, in the evening, the big names of Italian blues. This is the formula that has led to the event's success: musical quality meeting the flavours of the Brescian territory.

The Treves Blues Band

The most anticipated moment of the 2026 edition is the concert by the Treves Blues Band, led by Fabio Treves, the "Puma of Lambrate". Founded in 1974, it was the first band to bring Italian blues to the big stages, collaborating with international legends and even opening for Bruce Springsteen's only Italian tour in 1988. A name that brings prestige to the festival and confirms its commitment to quality.

With free admission and the food area always open, the Cologne Blues Festival is an accessible event for everyone, attracting fans and curious visitors from all over the province of Brescia and Lake Iseo. A celebration that uses the blues as the common thread for a weekend of music, taste, and socialising.
