Edition 2025 — Collontrek
The 2025 Collontrek confirmed the format of the international mountain race connecting the Place-Moulin dam in Bionaz, Valpelline, with Arolla, in the Swiss Canton of Valais. Participants tackled the 22-kilometre course and 1250 metres of positive elevation gain, crossing the Col Collon at 3080 metres, over alpine paths, glacier, and mule tracks.
The race, part of the Tour du Cervin and Tour des Grands Barrages circuits, renewed the sporting and cultural link between Italy and Switzerland along the ancient border trails, in one of the most stunning high-mountain landscapes of the Aosta Valley.
Programme
The 2025 edition reprised the classic route of approximately 22 km and 1250 m D+ with a start from the Place-Moulin dam (1989 m) in Bionaz, crossing the Col Collon (3080 m) with a glacier traverse, and finishing in Arolla (2006 m) in Switzerland, as part of the Tour du Cervin and Tour des Grands Barrages circuits.
