Collinarea Sound Festival

The 27th edition of the Collinarea Festival took place from July 11 to August 2, 2025, in the village of Lari (Casciana Terme Lari, Province of Pisa) and at the La Rotta River Park, in the territory of Pontedera. The edition was divided into three macro-areas: the multidisciplinary section with performing arts, music, theatre, and dance (July 11-26); the Sound section (July 18-20), with the first edition of the Collinarea PhD Summer School dedicated to sound perception through all senses; and Connessioni©, featuring the ubiquitous opera "Tosca d'essai" (August 1-2).

The programme featured 30 shows, 17 guest companies including 5 international ones, 5 productions, 1 co-production, and 11 national premieres, with artists such as the contemporary circus El Grito, the Carrozzeria Orfeo company, Duo Baldo, Erio, Simone Perinelli, and dancer Domokos Kovács.
