The Carnival in the Pearl of Val Seriana
The Clusone Carnival is one of the most deeply rooted carnival events in the province of Bergamo. It takes place in the heart of Clusone, an elegant village in Val Seriana awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club, and in 2026 it reaches its 72nd edition.
Paper Mache and Parade Floats
The Carnival comes alive with paper mache workshops, where artisans and volunteers shape masks and characters, and culminates in the parades of floats and allegorical groups that traverse the streets of the historic center. Colors, music, and fantasy transform the village into a grand open-air spectacle, capable of thrilling both young and old.
A Celebration for Everyone
Designed for children, families, and Carnival enthusiasts, the Clusone event combines tradition, creativity, and entertainment in a unique atmosphere. The setting of the historic center—with the famous Clock Tower Square and its monuments—makes the Clusone Carnival a particularly evocative event, capable of highlighting one of the most beautiful villages in the Bergamo mountains and attracting visitors from all over Val Seriana and beyond.

The 2026 Clusone Carnival, its seventy-second edition, enlivens the Val Seriana village from February 7 to 15. The program alternates paper mache workshops, masked parades, shows, and entertainment, culminating in the parades of floats and allegorical groups that wind through the historic center's streets in a riot of color, music, and fantasy. A celebration designed for children, families, and enthusiasts, set in one of the most beautiful villages in the Bergamo mountains.
