Neighborhood culture in Rome's Municipio V, between Prenestino and Centocelle
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Civilight Festival is a cultural project deeply rooted in Rome's Municipio V, which includes the Prenestino and Centocelle districts in the eastern part of the capital. The initiative was conceived by Daniele Romano's Digital Room Agency, a Roman firm active in communication and digital media, and submitted as part of a broader cultural outreach program promoted by the Municipality of Rome.
The Civilight Festival is among the projects submitted for the «Roma Creativa 365 - Rome all year round» public notice, promoted by Roma Capitale and managed by Zètema Progetto Cultura. The goal of this call is to support widespread cultural programming capable of enlivening all the city's districts throughout the year, rather than focusing solely on the historic center. Within this framework, the project was included in the ranking for Section 1, subsection 1/A, with a total score of 67 out of 100 for proposals concerning Municipio V.
Municipio V, with its Centocelle and Prenestino areas, is currently one of Rome's most vibrant cultural hubs. It boasts one of the highest concentrations of events in the capital, thanks to a dense network of associations, independent spaces, local festivals, open-air cinemas, and grassroots organizations. The squares and gardens of the area, from the Parco di Centocelle to the streets of Prenestino, have long served as a laboratory for social interaction and bottom-up initiatives. It is within this context of strong local identity that the Civilight Festival is situated.
At the moment, the dates, precise location, and detailed program for the 2026 edition of the Civilight Festival have not yet been officially published. As soon as the organizers release the calendar and the full lineup, this page will be updated with all the information you need to attend. We recommend checking for updates before planning your visit to Municipio V.

The Civilight Festival is expected to take place in Rome's Municipio V, in the Prenestino-Centocelle area (Postal Code 00171). The exact venue will be announced by the organizers.
The Centocelle area is served by the Metro C line (Centocelle, Mirti, Gardenie, and Parco di Centocelle stations) and numerous bus and tram lines connecting the district to the rest of Rome. Those arriving by car will find various parking spaces along the streets of Prenestino, but public transport remains the most convenient option.
As this is an initiative linked to neighborhood cultural programming, such events are often free of charge; any ticket prices or booking requirements will be indicated by the organizers.
