Civetta Carnival

The Civetta Carnival 2025 enlivened Galatina on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The day began with a gathering at 2:30 PM at the station square, followed by the parade starting at 3:00 PM along Via Liguria, Via Gallipoli, and Corso Porta Luce, arriving at Piazza Alighieri, the heart of the festivities.

The edition, organized by the L'Agorà Association, involved twelve local entities including schools, cooperatives, associations (such as Legambiente, Fidas, and Virtus), and carnival groups. The rhythm of the procession was set by the music of the group Balla Italia and the entertainment of comedian Sabina Blasi. The organizers described it as "a carnival full of joy and color," aimed at children and families and dedicated to entertainment, music, and fun.
