Edition 2025 — Civet Festival
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Fiha di Civet brought the aroma of chamois in civet back to Valsavarenche, the traditional mountain dish marinated in wine and spices and served with polenta. At the Pro Loco pavilion in Dégioz, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, volunteers prepared dinner served in multiple shifts, with takeaway option, while the evening continued with music and dancing. An event that confirmed the bond between the community of Valsavarenche and its high-altitude cuisine.
