Edition 2025 — Ciüsa Duvarta

The 2025 edition of Ciüsa Duvarta took place from August 29th to 31st in Chiusa di Pesio, also celebrating the tenth anniversary of the twinning with Cuges-les-Pins. Three days full of gastronomy, music, excursions, and Occitan traditions, culminating on Sunday the 31st with the grand fair in the streets of the historic center, featuring crafts, local products, equestrian shows, and falconry.

The 2025 edition of Ciüsa Duvarta was held from August 29th to 31st, with the inauguration in Piazza Cavour on Friday afternoon, accompanied by the "Guido Vallauri" Band and the celebration of the ten-year twinning with the French town of Cuges-les-Pins. The evening featured the "Raviolata under the stars" on Via Roma, enlivened by the Occitan dances of the Lou Pitakass group.

Saturday offered a free e-bike tour on the trails of the Pesio Valley, an aperitif on the Terrace of Castello Mirabello, and the AVIS "Grand Polenta Feast" followed by a musical. Sunday the 31st, the highlight day, featured the patronal Holy Mass with the presentation of the Constitution to eighteen-year-olds, preceding the grand fair that animated the entire historic center with crafts, food and wine products, antiques, equestrian shows, falconry, pony rides, circus theater, and wellness activities, in addition to free visits to the "Cav. Giuseppe Avena" Museum Complex.

Friday, August 29

  • 17:30 — Piazza Cavour: inauguration and celebration of the 10-year twinning with Cuges-les-Pins, with the "Guido Vallauri" Band
  • 19:30 — Via Roma: "Raviolata under the stars" with Occitan dances by the Lou Pitakass group

Saturday, August 30

  • 14:30 — Piazza Cavour: free e-bike tour on the trails of the Pesio Valley (30 km route)
  • 18:00 — Terrace of Castello Mirabello: aperitif
  • 19:00 — Senior Center: AVIS "Grand Polenta Feast" followed by the musical "Mamma Mia"

Sunday, August 31

  • 10:30 — Piazza Cavour: patronal Holy Mass, presentation of the Constitution to eighteen-year-olds, Band
  • 11:00 — Primary school courtyard: "The Fair Saloon" with food service
  • All day — Historic center: grand fair with crafts, food and wine products, and antiques; equestrian shows, pony rides, falconry, circus theater, and wellness activities
  • 09:00-18:00 — Free visits to the "Cav. Giuseppe Avena" Museum Complex
