Edition 2025 — CSA Music Festival
Ninth edition: the myth of Romeo and Juliet
The 2024-2025 season of the Città Sant'Angelo Music Festival, now in its ninth edition, was titled "And so, with a kiss, I die," dedicating the entire program to the myth of Romeo and Juliet. Curated by the Nicola Polidoro Foundation and the municipal administration of Città Sant'Angelo, with the artistic direction of Maestro Alessandro Mazzocchetti, the festival took place from November 30, 2024, to May 25, 2025.
Main events
The inaugural concert on November 30, 2024, at the Collegiate Church of San Michele Arcangelo, featured music by Ottorino Respighi and Tommaso Albinoni. In December, the ballet Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev was performed by the Balletto di Pescara, while the season concluded on May 24 and 25, 2025, with the opera I Capuleti e i Montecchi by Vincenzo Bellini at the Teatro Comunale, in the town of Città Sant'Angelo, province of Pescara.
