Cipolla Paglina Festival

The 31st Cipolla Paglina Festival in Castrofilippo was held from August 8 to 12, 2025, along Viale Bonfiglio, recording great public success. The opening evening on August 8 featured the tamburinara groups of Santa Venere and San Vincenzo and artist Mia Arnone; on August 9, the band Hmora performed during the tastings, while August 10 was dedicated to show cooking. On August 11, the comedy night with Dario Bandiera took place, followed on August 12 by the concert of I Cugini di Campagna. Along the town streets, restaurant and association stalls offered dishes based on cipolla paglina, from 'mbriulata to cuddiruni. Mayor Gioacchino Baio thanked the organizers, volunteers, and law enforcement for the success of the event, organized by the Municipality with the support of the Sicilian Region.
