Cinzella Festival 2025: The Ninth Edition in Grottaglie
The 2025 edition of Cinzella Festival, the ninth in its history, was held on July 18 and 19, 2025, at the Cave di Fantiano in Grottaglie, in the Province of Taranto. Once again, the artistic direction of Michele Riondino offered a diverse and international lineup.
The first evening, Friday, July 18, featured POP X, an experimental electronic project, with an opening set by the rap-trap collective P38. Saturday, July 19, saw the performance of Public Image Ltd (PiL), the legendary band led by John Lydon, in an exclusive show for Southern Italy as part of their "This is not the last tour," preceded by singer-songwriter Motta.
As per tradition, the event took place in the evocative setting of the Grottaglie tuff quarry, confirming Cinzella as a landmark event of the Apulian musical summer.
