Edition 2025 — CinemAmbiente

The 28th edition of the CinemAmbiente Festival was held in Turin from June 5 to 10, 2025, organized by the National Cinema Museum and directed by Lia Furxhi. The program featured over 100 films, including the International Documentary Competition, Short Film Competition, Made in Italy, and Panorama, with free screenings in theaters and online. The Asja Prize for best international documentary went to The Town that Drove Away.

The 28th edition of the CinemAmbiente Festival took place in Turin from June 5 to 10, 2025, confirming the format that combines international competitions with the Made in Italy and Panorama sections, featuring over 100 films. The Asja Prize for the best documentary in the international section was awarded to The Town that Drove Away by Grzegorz Piekarski and Natalia Pietsch (Poland). Valentina e i MUOStri by Francesca Scalisi was the only film to win two awards, receiving the "Gaetano Capizzi" Special Recognition for Made in Italy and the Environment and Society Award. A selection of 45 titles remained available for free online until June 21.
