In 2025, the Municipal Cinema of Ossana continued its dual seasonal programming, pairing first-run films with a mountain cinema festival in collaboration with the Trento Film Festival. Notably, in September, the venue hosted evenings for the TFF365 project featuring free international documentaries on mountaineering and the environment.

The 2025 season in Ossana

Throughout 2025, the Municipal Cinema of Ossana, in the Fucine district (Val di Sole, Trentino), maintained its winter and summer season format, bringing major current titles alongside curated selections to a small alpine community.

Mountain cinema with the Trento Film Festival

The highlight was the event with the Trento Film Festival: on Friday, September 12, 2025, with free admission, the documentaries Pourquoi tu vas là-haut, a portrait of para-climber Nathanaël Sapey-Triomphe, and Painting the Mountains were screened during an evening dedicated to mountain cinema, sports, and environmental sustainability. An occasion that reaffirmed Ossana's bond with the world's oldest mountain cinema festival.
