Cinema under the stars
Cinema in Villa transforms the courtyard of Villa Ghellini (Via Ghellini 4) into a large open-air cinema space every Wednesday in July. We are in Villaverla, a municipality in the Alto Vicentino area of the province of Vicenza, where the 17th-century residence of the Ghellini counts welcomes the public for four evenings of cinema under the stars.
Films for all ages
The festival offers films from around the world for all ages: from documentaries to art films, from comedies to animation for families. Screenings begin at 9:15 PM, with the ticket office opening at 8:30 PM and an affordable ticket price of €4.
A community event
Organized by the Municipality of Villaverla with the Civic Library, Cinema in Villa is also a social occasion: the bar is managed by blood donors, confirming the community-driven nature of the initiative. A simple and pleasant summer evening, in the heart of the village.
Cinema in Villa — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Cinema in Villa brings open-air cinema to the courtyard of Villa Ghellini in Villaverla for all Wednesdays in July, with screenings starting at 9:15 PM (ticket office from 8:30 PM) and a €4 ticket. Four evenings with films for all ages, from documentaries to animation, accompanied by the blood donors' bar.
