Edition 2025 — Cinema in Orto

The 11th edition of Cinema in Orto took place from June 30 to July 10, 2025, in the Cavea of the Botanical Garden of Messina, with four evenings dedicated to rare Italian and Sicilian films, including a tribute to the Messina-based production company Briguglio Film. Screenings at 9:00 PM and free admission with limited capacity.

Cinema in Orto 2025 — 11th edition

The eleventh edition of Cinema in Orto was held from June 30 to July 10, 2025, in the Cavea of the "Pietro Castelli" Botanical Garden in Messina, with four evenings of free screenings at 9:00 PM.

The 2025 program

  • Monday, June 30 — Roma, città aperta (1945) by Roberto Rossellini, with Anna Magnani and Aldo Fabrizi
  • Thursday, July 3 — Anni difficili (1948) by Luigi Zampa, with Umberto Spadaro and Milly Vitale
  • Monday, July 7 — Quel fantasma di mio marito (1950) by Camillo Mastrocinque, with Walter Chiari
  • Thursday, July 10 — Io, Caterina (1957) by Oreste Palella, with Nora Visconti and Pina Renzi

The edition paid tribute to the Messina-based production company Briguglio Film. Admission was free with capacity limited to approximately 85 participants.
