62nd Film Season
The 2025 season of Cineforum Orione at Cinema Lux in Messina featured a rich program of 30 films organized into eight thematic sections: Beyond the Veil, Archipelagos of Vision, The Policy of Authors, Love & Revolution, The Strength of Women, The Cinema We Love, European Film Awards, and Meeting with the Author.
The season opened on January 13 with the German film The Last Drink (2024) by Markus Goller, with free admission. Among the guests of the Meeting with the Author section was director Gianluca Maria Tavarelli. The edition also saw the launch of the Cinema Lux Messina application and new improvements to the theater's accessibility, with stairlifts and subtitled screenings.
