Edition 2025 — CilentArt Fest Perito

In 2025, it was Perito's turn to open CilentArt Fest: the fifth edition of the festival, scheduled from July 30th to August 13th in eight Cilento municipalities, kicked off in the Salerno village on Wednesday, July 30th, with three events featuring dance and contemporary theatre. An opening night that immediately clarified the festival's formula: multiple close-knit performances, unconventional spaces, and an audience that moves on foot through the historic center.

Perito opens the fifth edition

On July 30th, 2025, CilentArt Fest inaugurated its fifth edition in Perito, distributed until August 13th in eight Cilento municipalities: San Giovanni a Piro, Agropoli, Capaccio Paestum, Perito, Omignano, Moio della Civitella, Trentinara, and Gioi. The evening in Perito opened at 7:30 PM with Arthropoda by Maddalena Parise for lacasadargilla, continued at 8:30 PM with The Fridas by Sofia Nappi and the Komoco company, and closed at 9:30 PM with Dieci modi per morire felici by Emanuele Aldrovandi.

An edition with over twenty events

Overall, the fifth edition brought together about sixty artists in more than twenty events including civil theatre, dance, music, and performance, under the artistic direction of Alfredo Balsamo and Vittorio Stasi and with the support of Teatro Pubblico Campano, the Campania Region, and the Ministry of Culture. For Perito, hosting the opening night confirmed the inland village's role as one of the festival's reference locations, a role reaffirmed in 2026 with the August 3rd stop and the Cilento Lab.
