About Ciclostorica delle Terme
A ride through time between the Euganean spas
The Ciclostorica delle Terme is the new historical cycle tourism event debuting in Abano Terme, in the province of Padua. A vintage ride that brings vintage bicycles back to the road, on a journey between the thermal basin and the slopes of the Euganean Hills.
The route and the bikes
The route covers about 46.5 kilometers, mostly flat, along cycle paths, secondary roads, and embankments. The event is open to vintage bicycles built before 1987 with metal frames, external brake cables, downtube shifters, and pedals with toe clips and straps. Road bikes, city bikes, tandems, and any vehicle that evokes the historical spirit of the event are accepted. It is not a race, but a group ride.
Sport, participation, and solidarity
The event is organized by the Babby Bike organizing staff, led by Enrico Ravazzi, an entity that over the years has successfully combined sport, participation, and solidarity. The registration fee includes an official gadget, refreshments along the route, and a final party.

The first edition of the Ciclostorica delle Terme takes place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Abano Terme. Meet at 8:00 AM in front of Rinaldi Distribuzione, Via Pio X, with a "French-style" start between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
The route, approximately 46.5 km and mostly flat, winds through the thermal basin, the city of Abano, and the slopes of the Euganean Hills, along cycle paths, secondary roads, and embankments. The event is reserved for vintage bicycles built before 1987 with metal frames. The fee of 30 euros includes registration, gadget, refreshments, and a final party. Organized by the Babby Bike staff led by Enrico Ravazzi.
