Cicerchia and Serena Wheat Bread Festival

2025 Edition

In August 2025, the Cicerchia and Serena Wheat Bread Festival returned to animate the Taverna hamlet of Campodimele, in the province of Latina. As per tradition, the evening curated by the Campodimele Pro Loco celebrated the local chickling pea, cooked according to the traditional recipe with guanciale and Serena bread crostini, accompanied by sausage, dry-cured pancetta, and Marzolino cheese.

Producer stalls offered Serena wheat bread rolls, cheeses, honey, Campodimele legumes, homemade preserved vegetables, and traditional desserts, in an evening of celebration and sharing that brought residents and visitors together around the authentic flavours of the Aurunci village.
