Ciccio Riccio Run 2025: The first edition in Cellino San Marco
On Sunday, March 30, 2025, Cellino San Marco hosted the first edition of the Corri o Cammina Ciccioriccio Run, a non-competitive running event organized by the Associazione Podistica My Domo of San Pietro Vernotico with the patronage of the Municipality. The route, approximately 9.5 kilometers long on a mostly flat track, wound through the streets of the town with the start and finish at the historic Villa Neviera of the Cantine Due Palme.
Open to runners and walkers of all ages, the event combined sport, promotion of the local territory, and solidarity, in honor of the memory of Leonardo Pignatelli. The event laid the foundation for the success of subsequent editions, confirming Cellino San Marco as a stop on the running calendar of the province of Brindisi.
