Edition 2025 — Cicala Festival
The first 2025 edition
The Cicala Music Festival debuted in 2025 with a programme of sixteen events that took place from March 9 to October 19 in the municipalities of the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre, in Piedmont. The artistic direction was entrusted to Alice Fumero.
The programme alternated Baroque music by Vivaldi, Handel, and Bach, Romantic-era piano duets, Renaissance and Baroque dances, medieval harmonies, and piano variations, with stops in Colleretto Giacosa, Loranzè, Burolo, Bollengo, Rueglio, and Chiaverano. In Burolo, on May 25th, a concert dedicated to Mozart and Fuchs was staged, anticipating the festival's spirit of blending outreach with artistic quality.
