Edition 2025 — Cianciana Living Nativity

The 2025-2026 edition of the Cianciana Living Nativity took place from December 20, 2025, to January 6, 2026, in the Canalello district, transformed for the occasion into a little Bethlehem. Among alleys and ancient houses, the workshops of ancient trades (blacksmith, shoemaker, tailor, carpenter) came to life, along with the recitation of the 'Lu vïaggiu dulurusu' novena, concerts in the Mother Church, and performances by the marching band and bagpiper. Free admission.

Cianciana Living Nativity 2025-2026

From December 20, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the Canalello district of Cianciana (Province of Agrigento) hosted a new edition of the Living Nativity, organized by the Cianciana Experience Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Cianciana.

The village transformed into a little Bethlehem: among the houses, artisan workshops of ancient Sicilian trades were recreated, with the blacksmith, shoemaker, tailor, and carpenter at work. The spiritual heart of the event was the recitation of 'Lu vïaggiu dulurusu', the oldest Sicilian Christmas novena. The program included concerts in the Mother Church and performances by the marching band and the bagpiper through the town streets. Admission was free.

Setup of the living nativity in the Canalello district with ancient trade workshops (blacksmith, shoemaker, tailor, carpenter), recitation of the 'Lu vïaggiu dulurusu' novena, concerts in the Mother Church, and performances by the marching band and bagpiper through the historic center streets. Evening openings starting around 7:30 PM.
