Ciak & Zoom 2025: "The Presences"

The second edition of the Ciak & Zoom Festival was held from May 22nd to 24th, 2025 in the historic center of Modugno (Metropolitan City of Bari, Puglia). The chosen theme, "The Presences," explored everything that is invisible but leaves a trace in our lives: memories, relationships, dreams.

Under the artistic direction of Gaspare Rizzo and Erica Favia and organized by the associations MoveArt, Ciak & Zoom, and Unimpresa Cinema, the festival brought an intense program of screenings, short films in competition, concerts, exhibitions, masterclasses, and theatrical performances to the town's iconic landmarks—from the Perrone Library to Palazzo Santacroce, and Piazza Romita Vescovo. The event confirmed its collaboration with the Giffoni Film Festival and the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Puglia Region, and the Apulia Film Commission.

The 2025 edition revolved around the theme of invisible presences, with three days of events spread throughout the historic center of Modugno.

Jury and awards

The jury consisted of Angela Bianca Saponari, Michele Bia, and Carmen Albergo. During the awards ceremony, prizes were awarded for Best Film, Best Director, Best Acting, and technical awards, along with special mentions, the Audience Award, and the De Feo Award.
