On December 29, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the historic center of Sambuca di Sicilia hosted the 2025 edition of Christmas Zabut, the traveling living nativity of the Agrigento village. About 45 costumed performers portrayed artisans, farmers, shepherds, and symbolic nativity figures, bringing to life the route that stretched from Corso Umberto I to Piazza della Vittoria.
The event, organized by the IST Association of Calogero Maggio with the Perla Imperiale Association and the patronage of the Municipality, transformed the village streets into a small open-air Bethlehem, confirming Christmas Zabut as one of the most cherished Christmas events for the Sambuca community.
