Edition 2025 — Christmas Markets in Greve

In December 2025, the Municipality of Greve in Chianti hosted the "Waiting for Christmas" festival, a month of magic from December 6 to January 6 featuring artisan markets, concerts, entertainment, and the arrival of Santa Claus. The heart of the events was Piazza Matteotti in Greve, with the lighting of the tree on December 8 and Christmas markets on the Sundays of December, accompanied by initiatives in the villages of Montefioralle, Panzano, Strada in Chianti, and San Polo.

The 2025 edition of the markets and Christmas events in Greve in Chianti was included in the "Waiting for Christmas" festival, scheduled from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026. The calendar combined Christmas-themed artisan markets with a rich program of concerts, workshops for children, musical entertainment, and food stands.

Among the most heartfelt moments, on December 8, Santa Claus arrived in Piazza Matteotti at 4:00 PM, followed by the lighting of the large tree at 4:30 PM, accompanied by the "Street Band Attraroba". On Sunday, December 21, the artisan market animated Piazza Matteotti from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the arrival of Santa Claus at 3:30 PM. The villages of Montefioralle, Panzano, Ferrone, Poggio alla Croce, and San Polo in Chianti offered markets, concerts, and nativity scenes.
