On Monday, December 8, 2025, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Orte Scalo lit up for Christmas. From 10:00 AM, Piazza XXIX Agosto 1943 came alive with the market: handmade candles, embroidery, traditional panettone and sweets, local wine, books, flowers, wooden objects, handmade nativity scenes, and frames and bags made by local producers.

At 4:30 PM, the Christmas tree-lighting ceremony took place, accompanied by a celebratory toast offered by the Comitato Festeggiamenti Classe 1985, the organizer of the entire event. The day, which featured free admission, also offered attractions and entertainment for children and families.

The market opened a wider Christmas calendar running from December 8th to January 6th: a meeting with Santa Claus for children to deliver their letters on December 14th from 3:30 PM, dance recitals by local schools at the Auditorium on December 20th at 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM, and "Sfizi di Natale al centro storico" on December 21st from 4:00 PM, featuring traditional Orte flavors.
