Christmas Log Lighting in Trivio

The 2025 Edition

The 165th edition opened on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM in Piazza Sant'Andrea, with the lighting of the log accompanied by traditional sweets and folk music, in an atmosphere of joyful participation.

The village calendar continued with several events:

• December 27, from 7:00 PM — "Around the Great Hearth" in Piazza Sant'Andrea: tasting of grilled sausage, chestnuts, and wine, with folk music by the group Aria Sud;
• December 28, 5:00 PM — "The Sciuscio formiano," a traditional itinerant musical event;
• January 3, 7:00 PM — tasting of sausage, marzolina cheese, and olives with musical accompaniment by a DJ;
• January 6, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM — grand finale with the arrival of the Befana: children's village in the square with slides, entertainment, and shows by Pianeta Spettacolo, with the participation of the juggler Kikko.

All events were free to enter, organized as part of the "Christmas in Formia" program.
