Christmas 2025/2026 in Scorrano

From December 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with an official inauguration on December 5 at 7:00 PM, Scorrano hosted a rich Christmas calendar. Artistic illuminations lit up Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazzetta Municipio, and the alleys of the historic center with suspended light galleries, luminous tunnels, and two trees nearly 20 meters tall, featuring evening shows synchronized with music.

The Christmas markets accompanied the route with typical Salento products and local crafts. The Sand Nativity (7th edition, theme "Light and Peace"), created by six international artists, was set up in the Cloister of the former Agostiniani Convent and in the Courtyard of Palazzo De Iaco-Veris. The Santa Claus and Solidarity Village enlivened the days of December 7-8, 14, and 21, while the Santa Lucia Fair was held on Saturday, December 13. On January 6, 2026, the multisensory guided tour "The Light of the Senses" concluded the festivities.
