Edition 2025 — Christmas in the Square

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Acquafondata celebrated Christmas in the Square with the inauguration of a Christmas tree made entirely of crochet, born from the collective work of many villagers. The day was animated by the Santa Claus Band, food stalls, and an open invitation for everyone to bring an instrument to play and sing together.

The December 7, 2025 edition of Christmas in the Square kicked off the holiday season in Acquafondata, in the province of Frosinone. The central moment was the inauguration of the crochet Christmas tree, created thanks to the commitment of numerous community members who wove wool and creativity into a collective project.

The festivities were accompanied by the Santa Claus Band of the Città di Acquafondata musical ensemble, ready to bring music and joy to the village streets. There was no shortage of food stalls and an atmosphere of authentic conviviality, with an invitation for all participants to bring a musical instrument—guitar, tambourine, accordion—to join the choir and turn the square into a grand, shared celebration.
