Christmas in the Baroque Palaces

2025 Edition – "The Essence of Christmas"

The 2025 edition, the tenth of the event, was held in Ala on November 29-30 and on December 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, and 21, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the inauguration on November 29 in Piazza San Giovanni. The chosen theme was "The Essence of Christmas".

The halls and grand entrances of the baroque palaces—including Palazzo Taddei, Palazzo Pizzini, Palazzo Gresti Filippi, and Palazzo Malfatti Scherer—welcomed over forty exhibitors with decorations, accessories, and artisan products. There was no shortage of jazz concerts, the traveling living nativity scene by the Compagnia della Stella, lantern-lit tours with the 'Vellutai' (velvet weavers), street performances with stilt walkers, workshops, and cinema for children. On the food and wine front, tastings included mountain cheese, mulled wine, orzotto (barley risotto), and cider. Admission was free.
