Taormina Christmas Dream 2025

The 2025 edition opened on November 23rd with the lighting of the illuminations in Piazza Duomo and concluded on January 6, 2026. The tree lightings involved Mazzeo (December 6), Trappitello (December 7), and the grand ceremony in Piazza IX Aprile (December 8), followed by the Christmas Swing Show by the Mikely Family Band.

Highlights included: the concert by Silvia Mezzanotte (November 29), the immersive video mapping show in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (December 14), the lighting of the traditional "zuccu" bonfire at Mastrissa (December 19), and the evening with Michele Placido at the Palazzo dei Congressi (December 21). For families, musicals such as Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Moana were performed, along with the arrival of Santa Claus and White Circus shows. The Trappitello living nativity was open for visits between December 26 and January 6, while New Year's Eve enlivened Piazza IX Aprile, closing the festivities with events dedicated to Epiphany in the municipality of Taormina.
