Edition 2025 — Christmas in Noto

The 2025 edition of Christmas in Noto began on December 5, 2025, with the lighting of Sicily's tallest natural Christmas tree (approx. 37 meters) at 6:00 PM in Piazza XVI Maggio, and continued until January 6, 2026. For over a month, the historic center hosted markets, an ice skating rink, a mini funfair at the Villa Comunale, Santa's House, concerts, theater and dance performances, artistic nativity scenes, screenings, and activities for children throughout the city and its districts.

Christmas in Noto 2025

The 2025 edition of Christmas in Noto took place from December 5, 2025, to January 6, 2026, enlivening the Baroque historic center of the city in the province of Syracuse. The official opening took place on Friday, December 5, at 6:00 PM, with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza XVI Maggio: at approximately 37 meters, the natural tree is considered the tallest in Sicily.

The Villa Comunale was the hub of activities for families, featuring Christmas markets, a mini funfair, an ice skating rink, and Santa's House. The program offered Christmas concerts, musical evenings, theater and dance performances, children's events, film screenings, and charity days.

Numerous artistic nativity scenes enriched the holiday itinerary, from the Hermitage of San Corrado to the former Church of Santa Caterina, with exhibitions in the historic palaces of the center. Among the most evocative events was the concert by the Choir and Ensemble of Noto in the Church of San Carlo al Corso, dedicated to the Christmas repertoire.
