Christmas in Genazzano

The 2025-2026 edition of Christmas in Genazzano opened on December 6th and concluded on January 6th with the Befana at Castello Colonna. The hub of the program was the castle itself, which hosted the Santa's Village — entertainment, baby dance, letters, magic, and puppets, starting in the late afternoon — and the agri-food market of typical products, open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

The weekend of December 14th and 15th was the most intense, with Christmas markets in Piazza G. E. D'Amico (9:30 am - 7:00 pm), the Menestrello Christmas, the Christmas Beer, the tombolata in dialect for children, a vintage car gathering, and a scenic performance that intertwined music, theater, sound, and cinema. On December 18th, the Castello Colonna also hosted the first edition of the International Wine Experience, with over twenty sommeliers and a wide selection of labels for tasting.

Alongside the municipal events, the calendar gathered proposals from parishes, the Pro Loco, schools, and associations, with Christmas carols, conferences, exhibitions, and charity collections: a community celebration rather than a tourist showcase.
