Christmas in Chieti 2025

The 2025 edition of Christmas in Chieti opened on Sunday, December 7, with the lighting ceremony, enriched by an aerial show with a 50-meter crane, stilt walkers, street artists, a choir, and the performance of the "4 Santi". A great return, after thirty years, of the Christmas tree in Piazza Matteotti.

The Christmas markets enlivened Corso Marrucino in the historic center until January 11, 2026, while from Piazza Vico, starting December 13, the ANIAC proposed cooking shows, food and wine tastings, wine masterclasses, bingo, choirs, and cabaret. In Chieti Scalo, at Piazzale Marconi, the ice skating rink and the Santa Claus village for children returned.

From December 15, the Teatro Marrucino hosted the artistic marathon Amami Teatro, with performances, readings, and a silent disco party with three DJs overlooking the theater windows. On December 24, the charity concert of the musician Santa Clauses returned to the SS. Annunziata. The grand New Year's Eve in Piazza San Giustino completed the program, which was then closed by the Befana for children and the traditional living nativity scene on January 6, in collaboration with Teate Nostra.
