Edition 2025 — Christmas in Avola

The 2025 edition of Christmas in Avola took place from December 6, 2025, to January 12, 2026, with a rich program promoted by the Municipality of Avola. Between Piazza Umberto I and Piazza Regina Elena, the Santa Claus house, a market, an ice rink, and inflatables came to life, while the Sala Frateantonio hosted the exhibition of artisanal nativity scenes. Among the most popular moments were the passage of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Flame on December 17 and the living nativity of Avola Antica.

Christmas in Avola 2025

The 2025 edition of Christmas in Avola enlivened the city from December 6, 2025, to January 12, 2026, under the direction of the Municipality of Avola. Piazza Umberto I welcomed the Christmas tree, light installations, and the Santa Claus house, while Piazza Regina Elena hosted the market, the ice rink, and inflatables for children.

The Sala Frateantonio of the Town Hall hosted the exhibition of artisanal nativity scenes, featuring works by master craftsman Sgandurra and decorations made by local schools. In Avola Antica, the living nativity scene was performed on December 26, 27, and 28, and January 4 and 6.

  • January 1: New Year's Concert by the City of Avola Band at the Teatro Garibaldi
  • January 6: "Waiting for the Befana" and the Magi procession

Numerous cultural initiatives at the Municipal Library, children's shows, and solidarity activities accompanied the festivities in the province of Syracuse.
