The 2025 Chocolate Festival

The 2025 edition took place from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10 in Piazza Risorgimento, effectively opening the Christmas calendar of the Prati district right after the Immaculate Conception. The market was part of the circuit of events set up by Municipality I Rome Center along with Piazza Mazzini, Largo De Matha in Trastevere, the Testaccio Market, and Piazza Vittorio: all characterized by the same layout with wooden chalets and warm lights.

Chocolate artisans alternated at the stalls with pralines, bars, nougats, and decorative creations, accompanied by exhibitors of nativity scenes, ornaments, and strictly handmade gift items. Admission to the square was free and the location, just a stone's throw from the Vatican walls, allowed Romans and tourists to combine Christmas shopping with a visit to St. Peter's Basilica.
