Chiostri e Inchiostri – Midsummer Festival

The sixth edition of the midsummer literary festival Chiostri e Inchiostri was held in Noci (BA) from July 24 to 27, 2025, with evening hours from 7:30 PM until late at night. The central theme was "Freedom", explored as freedom of thought, expression, creativity, and personal growth, with over 150 guests and more than one hundred events.

Among the guests over the four evenings: Luciano Canfora, Nichi Vendola, Federico Rampini, Susanna Mattiangeli, Mariella Nava, and Francesco Sole (Thursday, 24th); Natasha Stefanenko, Mario Desiati, Alessandro Aresu, Gianfranco Pasquino, and Teresa Manes (Friday, 25th); Chiara Francini, Lino Guanciale, Francesco Giorgino, Antonio Moresco, and Gaetano Quagliariello (Saturday, 26th); Paolo Di Paolo, Nicola Lagioia, Milo De Angelis, Alessandro Cecchi Paone, and Antonio Ingroia (Sunday, 27th). The opening, on July 24 in Largo Rotolo, was entrusted to the talk "Dialogues on Freedom" with Luciano Canfora. The 2025 edition also saw the debut of the Chiostri e Inchiostri Opera Prima Prize, dedicated to young authors.
