Children's Carnival of Bazzano

The 2025 edition celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Children's Carnival of Bazzano, one of the most deeply rooted festivals in the Bologna Apennines and among the historic Carnivals of Emilia-Romagna. The two parades, scheduled for February 23 and March 2 with a start from Piazza Garibaldi at 2:30 PM, brought allegorical floats and masked children to the historic center, with the unmissable Barbazecch and his dscaurs.

For the sixtieth anniversary, the publication "Le maschere e il trenino" was created, retracing six decades of the festival's history through photographs. Due to ongoing construction work at the town's nursery school, the celebrations following the parades were hosted at the Rocca.
