Edition 2025 — Children's Carnival
2025 Children's Carnival
The 2025 edition of the Children's Carnival in Monopoli took place over three days in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, with a municipal investment of approximately 27,000 euros for the carnival events. On Shrove Thursday, February 27 (from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM), organized by the San Marco Association, students from the four Comprehensive Institutes performed dances prepared at school, alongside a show of Renaissance-style clothing by the "Luigi Russo" Art High School, decorated with floral motifs.
On Sunday, March 2 (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM), the Pro Loco "Perla di Puglia" transformed the square into a true open-air amusement park, with inflatables, stilt walkers, clowns, mascots, balloon art, face painting, bubble shows, cotton candy, and popcorn. On Tuesday, March 4, the festival concluded with the Carnival parade and theatrical sketches. In 2025, the event was also free and open to the public, designed for children and families from the city and the province of Bari.
