Edition 2025 — Chianti EcoMarathon

The 18th edition of the Chianti Classico EcoMarathon took place from October 17th to 19th, 2025, in Castelnuovo Berardenga, attracting about 2,500 participants across competitive races and walks. The 42 km marathon was won by Federico Baldi in 3h10'28", with a 35% female participation rate and athletes from all Italian regions and numerous foreign countries.

The 2025 edition of the Chianti Classico EcoMarathon confirmed the success of the event: over a thousand registered for competitive races and as many distributed across non-competitive events, for a total of about 2,500 people moving through the roads and trails of the Sienese Chianti.

On the flagship 42 km distance, Federico Baldi (Atl. Avis Sansepolcro) triumphed in 3h10'28". The female participation rate reached 35%, confirming the inclusive nature of the event, while nearly 300 teams competed in the club category. Alongside the races, the program offered the "Emotions in the Wineries" food and wine experience, the 6-Legged EcoWalk, and technical briefings with Fulvio Massini, in a weekend that combined sport, landscape, and flavors in Castelnuovo Berardenga.
