Chianina Cattle Exhibition

The 70th edition confirmed the beef cattle market and the competition for premium veal calves, with the winners announced on Saturday at noon, following the jury's evaluation and a lesson by students on the morpho-functional assessment of the Chianina. In the afternoon, guided cheese tastings were held by Onaf, along with the awards ceremony for the school competition "Pencils and markers for the history of the Chianina" and a performance by the band "Prime note."

Sunday featured the ecological walk by the Camucia trekking group, the Val di Loreto "La Cortonese" cycling rally, a parade of vintage agricultural machinery, the "How to cook Chianina" demonstration with Ilaria Salvadori, a show by the folk group Il Cilindro, vintage games for children, agility dog demonstrations, and the "T'amo Vitellone Bianco in cucina" event organized by the Consortium for the Protection of the Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale IGP.
