Edition 2025 — Chestnuts and Novello in the Village

The second edition of Castagne, Novello e Pallagrello al Borgo took place from Friday, November 14 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in the village of Squille, Castel Campagnano (Caserta). With stalls opening from 6:00 PM, the historic center transformed into a large open-air dining area, featuring chestnuts, novello wine, Pallagrello, and traditional rural dishes, accompanied by roaming live music.

2025 Edition

The second edition of the festival was held from Friday, November 14 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Squille, a hamlet of Castel Campagnano, in the province of Caserta. Starting from 6:00 PM, the alleys and squares of the village hosted the Silla Association's food stalls.

The protagonists of the event were roasted chestnuts, novello wine, and Pallagrello, along with local specialties such as arrosticini, ciambotta, padellaccia, hanged caciocavallo, and fried pizza. Largo Palazzo hosted local products and crafts, while roaming live music animated the evenings, confirming the event as one of the most appreciated autumn appointments in the Alto Casertano.
