Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival
In October 2025, the Chestnut Festival enlivened Crocefieschi with the flavours of autumn: roasted chestnuts, polenta, and sausages, accompanied by an antique market and music. A village festival celebrating the symbolic fruit of the woods in the upper Scrivia Valley.
The 2025 edition of the Chestnut Festival confirmed the autumn event in Crocefieschi, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. Among the Pro Loco's stalls with roasted chestnuts and typical dishes, the antique market and music attracted visitors from the Genoese hinterland, celebrating the chestnut tradition of the Ligurian Apennines.
